science degree in finance, magna cum laude, as well as a master of science of accountancy degree
from the Wayne Calloway School of Business and Administration at Wake Forest University. He was a
merit scholarship recipient, a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society for Business and a member
of the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. Mr. Brown is a Certified Public Accountant.

Matthew R. Culbertson, Associate
Mr. Culbertson joined Fidus Partners in 2006 and has since worked on transactions in both the U.S. consumer / retail and
business services sectors. He graduated from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia with dual
concentrations in finance and management. Mr. Culbertson is also a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars
and has previously worked as a summer intern for Smith Barney.

Peter E. Ostergard, Associate
Prior to joining Fidus Partners in 2008, Mr. Ostergard worked as an analyst at KeyBanc Capital Markets where he focused on capital
raising transactions and strategic advisory assignments in the industrial technology, transportation & logistics, and oil & gas industries.
Previously, Mr. Ostergard worked in the investment management and trust department at KeyBank. Mr. Ostergard earned a bachelor of arts
degree in Economics and History from Vanderbilt University.
