Mr. Brown joined Fidus Partners in 2007. Prior to joining Fidus, he earned a bachelor of science degree in finance, magna cum laude, as well as a master of science of accountancy degree from the Wayne Calloway School of Business and Administration at Wake Forest University. He was a merit scholarship recipient, a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society for Business and a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. Mr. Brown is a Certified Public Accountant.

Patrick C. Clark, Associate
Upon receiving his master of business administration from the University of Virginia’s Darden School in 2011, Mr. Clark rejoined Fidus Partners. While previously with the firm, he worked on numerous consumer, industrial, and building products transactions. Prior to Fidus, Mr. Clark worked as an investment banking analyst for Wachovia Securities. In addition to his graduate degree, Mr. Clark earned a bachelor of arts from Davidson College, cum laude with high honors.

Matthew R. Culbertson, Associate
Mr. Culbertson joined Fidus Partners in 2006 and has since worked on transactions in both the U.S. consumer / retail and business services sectors. He graduated from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia with dual concentrations in finance and management. Mr. Culbertson is also a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and has previously worked as a summer intern for Smith Barney.

Prior to joining Fidus Partners in 2008, Mr. Ostergard worked as an analyst at KeyBanc Capital Markets where he focused on capital raising transactions and strategic advisory assignments in the industrial technology, transportation & logistics, and oil & gas industries. Previously, Mr. Ostergard worked in the investment management and trust department at KeyBank. Mr. Ostergard earned a bachelor of arts degree in economics and history from Vanderbilt University.
